II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth.
|
I Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which
the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
|
The fundamental concepts in our pursuit are twofold. Rightly dividing and comparing spiritual with spiritual. We must rightly divide
with respect to doctrinal and dispensational teaching of scripture and compare the examination of spiritual words with other spiritual words provided
by GOD. These spiritual words are given to us through the medium of the Bible. These two concepts are foundational to this web site.
Hebrews 5:11-14 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12) For when for
the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such
as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13) For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14)
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
|
We do not want to be unskillful in the "word of righteousness." It is therefore necessary that we use the tools GOD has so graciously
provided and exercise our senses with respect to these tools. It is only through this process that we can ever hope to be the workman that
GOD desires; one who can stand approved on account of his workmanship. In other words, his work having been tried and tested, it should not
be found "wanting" or lacking and thus, the workman "ashamed."
Ecclesiastes 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is
a weariness of the flesh.
|
Indeed, this path is often demanding and produces much "weariness of the flesh." However, we must not let that deter us from our
objective. Let us remain steadfast in the race that is set before us. It is our hope and desire that this web site can serve as a
tool for those who endeavor to search and see and through GOD's grace, provide a "word in season to him that is weary."
